We may have been quiet of late, but that’s only because we’ve been unbelievably busy keeping the pre-production of this behemoth going. So what’s been happening recently? Well, we are now fully cast, we’ve completed location scouting for interiors, and most importantly we have a new Director of Photography on board. Please welcome Andy Toovey!
Andy has been working as a filmmaker and DoP since 2010, contributing to It’s My Shout and BBC Wales, to name a few. His focus is narrative projects, which he says, “for me is the soul of filmmaking!”
“I’m based in the valleys where the landscapes are beautiful and life is colourful – perfect to get the creative juices flowing. ‘Anhedonia’ grabbed my imagination with a script that is ambitious and unpredictable, and I’m looking forward to being stretched in pursuit of the mesmerising images needed to help bring Mike’s vision to life.”
